An Original American Classic
DENVER, CO — Five of the best youth-oriented stories you will ever read! You will be happy to share Heart-to-Heart with your teen/youth.
Elga Haymon White, author of Pure Rhapsody, A Children's Christmas Duo, and other books, show why she is one of modern America's strongest youth advocates. Her stories are filled with wholesome adventures which always teach a valuable lesson and reinforce moral and virtuous values that we, as adults, long to preserve in the lives of our youth.
Heart-to-Heart shares in the story, The Gold Locket, a young man's search for a new life in a new land, rewarding him much more than he ever dreamed he would receive. Carrie of Ardelean, set in Kingston, Jamaica, finds two teenage girls whose friendship transcends their very different backgrounds—proving that love is stronger than tradition. Lebanon McCabe finds his heart has been captured when a lovely, young city girl spends a summer in his rural town. Music provides the spark and love, once again, triumphs over physical adversity. The story, Kacey Judd Goes South, is a young woman's journey to find her roots, and is taught a more valuable lesson about life. The Shepherdess is a stunning example of what can go right in life when proper attitudes and beliefs are embraced.
Make this book 'official' in your home library. Start a weekly book-reading session with Elga Haymon White's Heart-to-Heart and recapture the passion and love you received from your parents as a teen/youth.
It has always been in Elga's heart to write stories for children and youth, stories with the true meaning of life and the joy of living life to its fullest. Heart-to-Heart is a wonderful example of the stories Elga has longed to share with youth. She has written short stories and poems since she was a child and has also been an avid reader. Her brother, Rev. Donald E. Haymon, commented to his congregation not long ago, "I remember Elga reading Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys to my brother and me when we were boys." Now, this author continues to spin her own magical words within the hearts of youth the world over. Elga is proud to announce that her latest story/coloring/activity book for children, A Children's ADVENTURE Duo... will be published by Entry Way Publishing. This book is due out by Christmas 2006.
What we know about the writer is this... she has only just begun!

Prose for Profound Thought and Spiritual Growth
DENVER, CO — “Billowing sails unfurled, gliding upon placid waters into uncharted seas – sailing to far away places.” Elegant and beautiful, Pure Rhapsody by Elga Haymon White is a refreshing culmination of literary verse and deep spiritual aspirations. Displaying a lifelong mastery of written word combined with insightful discipline in the art of emotional understanding, Elga’s poetic message flows as softly as her billowy clouds.
Along with clouds, angry seas, wind and nights, Elga shares the deepest spiritual treasures of Little Pleasures and the triumph of Nature’s power. Giving rise to love, friendship and the joys of life’s purest and greatest meanings, Pure Rhapsody will reinforce God’s spirit and magnify his blessings in your life. Nature and the written word have no better advocate than Elga and Pure Rhapsody. While you sit back and enjoy her poems one by one, you will see how she takes you on a magical ride throughout time and space and then she will gently bring you back to simple realities of life.
Elga has written poems and short stories most of her life, but more diligently the last several years. Her poetry appears in the American Poetry Anthology, Vol. IX, No. 2, 1989 Issue, and also in several anthologies published by the National Library of Poetry. In the anthology, Daybreak on the Land, she received the Editor’s Choice Award for her poem, ‘Rhapsody of Nature.’ She is published in The Best Poems of 1997, in which her poem, ‘Night Wanderings,’ appears. In The Best Poems of 1998, her poem, ‘A Wind from . . . Elsewhere’ can be found. These books were published by the National Library of Poetry. In the fall of 1997, Elga was nominated and accepted as a Distinguished Member of the International Society of Poets; she was nominated as Poet of the Year for 1997 at the Seventh Annual International Society of Poets Symposium and Convention, held in Washington, D.C. She was also inducted into the International Poetry Hall of Fame in 1997. Her poetry may be viewed on the World Wide Web at: http://www.poetry.poets.com/ElgaHaymonWhite.html. Elga was invited to become a member of The Famous Poets Society in 2002, and her poem, “A Morning Stroll,” appears in their 2002 anthology, New Millennium Poets.
